Cost (Preis) In June 2000, a price of 18,9 million US-Dollars for the StarLiner 2000 was mentioned, while the stretched StarLiner 300 should sell at 24,3 million. Development costs are put at 660 million US-Dollars. Competition (Konkurrenz) Bombardier CRJ700 Embraer ERJ-170 Fairchild Dornier 728JET Remarks (Bemerkungen) Alliance Aircraft was set up and is led by Earl Robinson, a former Fairchild Dornier executive. The company plans to develop and build a whole family of regional jets at a new factory on the former Pease Air Force Base. Before starting real work on the programme, Alliance needs to secure enough funding. At the ILA show in Berlin in June 2000, it was said that 150 million US-Dollars had already been secured and another 250 million are hoped for from two leading investment banks. Adittionaly, around 160 million will need to be contributed by risk-sharing suppliers. History (Geschichte) Plans call for delivery of the StarLiner 200 in the summer of 2003.
