Remarks (Bemerkungen)
The Cougar 100 is a simplified and thus cheaper version of the AS 532UC/AC Cougar. Changes includes:

fixed landing gear
standard, simplified avionics kit
standard, basic equipment, no modifications on the production line

Eurocopter hopes to compete more effectively to cheap Russian offerings and the utility version of the UH-60. Price is 20 to 30 per cent below normal Cougars. First flight should occur in the summer of 1997 and deliveries could start before year-end.
