Remarks (Bemerkungen)
After designing and building successfull aerobatic aircraft, Walter Extra announced its new venture in February 1993. First flight was completed April 4, 1996, and about a year later the E400 has received its FAR 23 certification from the German LBA. Approvals for de-icing and pressurisation (5,5 PSI) have yet to follow. Currently one prototype is in flight test, but five more E400 should be completed by the end of 1997.
