Customers (Kunden)
At the NBAA Convention in October 2000, Raytheon claimed 105 orders. 14 more sales were added at the Paris Air Show in June 2001. Most of the aircraft will go to the Raytheon Travel Air company, which will take 50 with 25 options.

Remarks (Bemerkungen)
The Hawker 450 is a new mid-size business jet offering from Raytheon, fitting between the Beechjet 400A and the Hawker 800XP. It will offer a very roomy cabin at an affordable price. Features include a carbonfibre fuselage plus conventional wing and tail assemblies. Honeywell Primus Epic avionics will be fitted.

History (Geschichte)
The Hawker 450 was announced at the NBAA Convention in New Orleans on 9 October 2000. Full scale development began at the end of the year.
At the Paris Air Show in June 2001, Raytheon released performance guarantees for the aircraft.
Service entry is predicted for 2006
